Properties and Uses
1.It contains group of ten roots such as bilva, shyonaka, gokshura etc therefore useful in the treatment of edema.
2.It is also indicated in arsh, pandu, amavata, diabetes and psychiatric disorders etc.
3.Dosha karma: Balances Pitta and Kapha dosha.
Dosage and Anupan
5 to 10 gm with lukewarm water, usually before meal, twice daily or as directed by the doctor.
Side-effects
Usually no side-effects but overdose may produce diarrhoea and indigestion.
Shelf-life
3 years from the date of manufacture.
