Jathyadi Ghritam is Ayurvedic formulation medicine in herbal ghee form. This has ghee as its base. This medicine is used for external applications. Shows amazing results in skin-related disorders. This ghritam helps to balance the aggravated pitta dosha and cures deep-seated wounds.

1. Jati – Jasminum sambac- 14.76 g
2. Nimbapatra – neem leaves- 14.76 g
3. Patolapatra – Trichosanthes dioica- 14.76 g
4. Katuka – Picrorrhiza kurroa- 14.76 g
5. Darvi – Berberis aristata – 14.76 g
6. Nisha – Curcuma longa – 14.76 g
7. Sariva – Hemidesmus indica- 14.76 g
8. Manjishta – Rubia cordifolia- 14.76 g
9. Abhaya – Terminalia chebula – 14.76 g
10. Siktaka – Honey bee wax – 14.76 g
11. Tuttha – Purified blue vitriol – 14.76 g
12. Madhuka – Glycyrrhiza glabra- 14.76 g
13. Naktahva – Pongamia pinnata – 14.76 g
14. Sarpi – ghee – 768 ml
15. water – 3.072 liter

( heated till herbal ghee is prepared)

Dosage and Anupan:

Used for external application.A cloth dipped in and spread over the wound or used for dhara.Before application wound must be washed with turmeric

This ghritam used externally in the treatment of deep-seated wounds and ulcers, non-healing wounds with secretions also effective in skin tuberculosis lesions also shows amazing effects in-ring worm infection and jock itch.
