Vaidyaratnam Amrutharishtam - It is a Rasayana used in all kinds of acute and chronic fevers.
Vaidyaratnam Amrutharishtam is a potent remedy formulated of herbs like Amrita (Tinospora cordifolia), which is one of the effective Rasayana from the classical Ayurvedic literature. Being a fermented aqueous formulation, it contains 5 to 10 percent of self-generated alcohol developed over a period.
Properties and Uses:
It is a Rasayana used in all kinds of acute and chronic fevers.
Dosage and Anupan:
It is to be taken in the quantity of 15-30 ml, after meals, along with an equal quantity of lukewarm water.
Side Effects:
If taken in dose more than 50 ml, gastrointestinal disturbances and diarrhea are suspected.
Shelf Life:
10 years. Once after opening the bottle, it is better to empty it within 2 months
