Vaidyaratnam Amruthotharam Kashaya Gulika Tablet is an ayurvedic preparation used to treat conditions like fever, poor digestive health, and rheumatoid arthritis. The herbs used in making kashaya gulika tablets are giloy, haritaki, and adrak. The kashaya tablets are made by using kashayam of these herbs and then this mixture of kashayam is converted into tablets by the solidified method.

The kashayam is prepared by taking the required quantities of herbs and then cut into smaller pieces after that these small pieces are immersed in water for 7-8 hours and the next day morning it is added with 16 times water and reduced to 1/8th or 1/4th by placing over mild heat for some time.

After checking the water level, it is taken out from the fire and can be used medicinally. The main ingredient of the kashaya gulika tablet is giloy which is rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. भावप्रकाश – व्रण्यं उष्णं सरं मेध्यं दोषघ्नं शोथकुष्ठनुत् ।
